As Second Language teachers, we are constantly facing different challenges in our classrooms with the only purpose to help our students to enhance and improve their level of English; however, probably you will agree with us that one of the most difficult tasks students have to perform is precisely a listening activity due to their lack of preparation to do this type of tasks. For this reason, one of our main duties is selecting, adapting and creating techniques to help every single student to help to learn effectively using their own abilities taking into consideration their educational needs. At this point, it seems it is a tough task to do it, and you will wonder how you can help your pupils to develop their listening skill. This article is for educational leaders who believe that all students can learn in a better way. It is for those teachers who think that their students must be responsible of their own learning process leaving behind the traditional and old forms of teaching. As a consequence of this, we decided to share with our colleagues a set of learning strategies which will be a success in your classes. Some of these strategies are called
